The Story of Simón Spósito

When it was time to choose a career, Simón decided not to study music. Instead, he went to the Central University of Venezuela, graduated as an economist, and worked as a financial analyst in the oil industry for many years. Even without formal training, he kept playing guitar and writing songs in his free time. Over time and with lots of practice, he became very skilled at both. He also developed a special talent called body percussion, where he makes rhythmic sounds using just his hands, without any instruments.

When the internet became popular, Simón’s love for music grew even more. He started uploading videos of his songs to YouTube, where many people discovered them. He also created a new dance style called Quirodanza. This style combines dance with hand percussion, like Tap or Flamenco, but instead of using feet for rhythm, it uses only hands.
